Surangel S. Whipps, Jr. is the 10th President of the Republic of Palau, serving in the 11th and now the 12th Constitutional Government of Palau having been re-elected for a second term in the November 5, 2024 election. He maintains his commitment to improving the lives of Palauans domestically and promoting Palau’s interests on a global level.
Moving forward, President Surangel Whipps, Jr. remains focused on ensuring “A Kot a Rechad er Belau”, ensuring that Palauans benefit from their own nation’s resources and opportunities. President Whipps draws inspiration from his father’s humble beginnings, work ethic, business acumen, and dedication to family, friends, and nation.
